The drummer in the band is Mike Portnoy, who is listed in the drummer hall of fame as the youngest one. He is famous for technical drumming, so he beats time quite exactly. And he is also famous for using full set drums, which consists of 19 drums and 18 cymbals. His fans called the huge drum set “Monster Set.”

Please let me know if the underlined parts are correct.

Mike Portnoy is the youngest member of the Drummer Hall of Fame.

(I'm assuming there really is a specific Hall of Fame just for drummers. If not, he's "the youngest drummer in the Hall of Fame".)

The first is OK. (Ems said it more succinctly.)

I doubt there is a drummer hall of fame. (I am willing to be proven wrong.)

Don't all drummers keep time?

You seem to have taken admiration to the next step--adulation.

Does anybody need that many drums?

(I wouldn't say beats time. (See above.))

1. If you look at this site, you will find he plays tons of drums and cymbals.

2. How can you say "beats time" in another way?
