"It was a decorated, becatered and bewaitered table."

Could you tell me what it means? Since I haven't been able to look it up in a dictionary I suspect it being kind of old-fashioned?
 
"It was a decorated, be-catered and be-waitered table."
Invented words for humorous effect. Waiters catered for you when you sat there.
