TED has great videos and I believe you can switch on English subtitles. Please see my amendments to your post.

By the way, I don't think you meant "Best way to lean" in your title.

I tend to lean to the left.

Having a nautical turn, I list rather than lean. Frequently .

On a more serious note, youtube has a virtually unlimited supply of lectures, discussions, documentaries, etc.

I believe Del Boy already demonstrated the best way not to lean when he fell through the open bar flap, you know what I mean.

I learnt a lot of English by listening to programs on BBC Radio 4 and by watching plenty of comedies on TV. As much fun action movies might be, I think for a learner programs where the focus of attention is on the spoken word are best. Some of my all-time favourite films are "Casablanca" and "12 Angry Men".
