Hi teachers,

I was reading a book and came across the following sentence:

''While XXX has bestowed many rights to women'' I think 'on or upon' is the correct preposition. What do you say?

"Bestow upon" is the most common collocation.

I agree. For "bestowed", "upon" or "on" is more common.
