Hi.

Are my sentences natural with "bind"?

1) Such a slogan will bind our hand and foot.
2) He is binding a new book.
3) Stones and cement binds strongly.
4) They bound the boy's hands.

2 and 4 are fine.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say with #1. Slogans don't bind anything. Please explain what you are trying to say.
I'm not sure what you mean by #3. Cement binds two other things to each other.

The expression to bind someone hand and foot exists, and means "to tie someone's hands and feet together". It's sometimes used figuratively, but a slogan isn't capable of exerting the kind of control the expression describes.

I wasn't familiar with that phrase but, even if a slogan could exert that kind of control, it would need to be "... will bind us hand and foot".

1) Such a slogan will bind our hand and foot. That one makes no sense. Try again!

2) He is binding a new book. Good.

3) Stones and cement bond strongly. That's a better word.

4) They bound the boy's hands. Good.
Let us know next time you're in a bind!
