ironsmith
an ironworker or blacksmith

blacksmith
a smith who works in iron, including the making and fitting of horseshoes

So I guess ironsmith is more comprehensive than blacksmith?

Do you mean "more specific"?
Even if you do, the information given wouldn't lead to that conclusion. How did you formulate your guess?

This is the first time I've ever heard of an ironsmith.

Our Yellow Pages lists Blacksmiths and Forgemasters but no ironsmiths.
