If something made me so excited that my blood seemed to become hot, could I say that something made my blood run wild or run hot?

For example, is it correct to say "Watching the porno movie made my blood run wild/hot?" Thank you so much.

I am not a teacher.

You could say it, but I wouldn't.

Imagination runs wild, blood runs cold.

Watching the porno movie got you worked up/excited. People can be hot-blooded, but those that are tend to be like that all the time.

 I'm not sure how blood could 'run wild'.

PS Though I note that the Ruen Brothers disagree. If that song is where you got the form of words, beware. Just because a song-writer thinks up some wacky lyrics, don't assume they're idiomatic.
