I daily go through the following type of sentences in office. I am confused whether all are correct. Or, is there any better way to say them.


Please wait, he is on the another call.
Call me on 9253081676
Call me at 9253081676
You may reach me at my mobile no.
I was messaged the plan of production.
I am working on the computer.
I am logged on.
Open google and search.
Log in to facebook and post some photos of you on it.

Okay. In AmE we would say please hold rather than please wait.

Usual in BrE

Call me at 9253081676
Usual in Ame. I am not sure which one is preferred in Indian English.

You may reach me at my mobile no.
Same distinction as above: at a phone number is AmE and on a number in BrE.

I was messaged the plan of production.
I received the plan of production via text message. It seems unlikely that the plan of production would be short enough to fit in a text message, but that is what I think "I was messaged" implies.

I am working on the computer.
I am logged on.
Both are fine. The former could be a stand-alone computer. The latter implies "to a computer network."

Open google and search.
Or just "Google it."

Log in to facebook and post some photos of you on it.
How about: Post some photos of yourself on facebook.
