Where will you visit?

Some teachers say this sentence is wrongly used. It should be corrected as " Which place will you visit?"
Can anyone tell me which one is right? and why?
Thanks a lot!

Abe: Where are you going?
Bob: I'm going to London.

Offhand I would say neither is right. (Note the brief conversation between Abe and Bob.)

Can anyone tell me which one is right no question mark here and why?

Thanks a lot! Unnecessary. Thank us after we help you, by adding a "Thanks" icon to any response you find helpful.
Please note my corrections above. "Which place will you visit?" would work if a selection of places to choose from had already been mentioned. For example:
You have the choice of going to London, Paris or New York. Which place will you visit?
