And how could the company make that work? The longer the trip, the more likely that the shuttle could not be used for multiple employees.

I think the idea is that they run all over tarnation picking up more and more people before finally arriving at work. You get a free ride to work, but it isn't direct and you have to share with other people.

I believe the idea here is to limit the duration of this commute to 2 hours, as a benefit to the employee.

My company has a car service for our employees in India. They are picked up at their homes. I believe what Dave says above is exactly what the original question as getting to. "We will drive you. You won't be picked up more than 2 hours before your shift begins."

So the routes to pick up employees must be efficient.

Nobody has answeted my question as of yet. we have to use "To" in indirect speech?

There was no indirect in the original.

Your original sentence was so flawed the talking about the use of the word "to" will not help fix it.

However, after "make" you do need to use "to."

OK so is it wrong to say "I will make him do this or he makes me do this", do we need to say "I make him to do this"?

"I will make him do this" is correct.

As is "They can't be made to sit..."

OK so we have to use "To" in indirect speech.

I mean you have advised me to say "They were made to sit them".
