Hi,

"This dress is way too fancy. It would definitely look great on super models. But I am just an ordinary girl. I can't ___ it."

In here, would "handle" fit? If not, what are the words you believe might fit in here? I am looking for an abstract verb or phrasal verb for this

so please exclude "wear".

Thank you!

"little girl" usually means a young female who is probably under the age of 12. A "small" girl might be better, but a small lady is the best.
Possible ways to express this idea:
I can't wear it.
I can't show it off correctly.
I can't do it justice. ---Best if you are trying to say that the dress wouldn't look good given your body size.

Gillnetter I love the first two answers of yours. Obviously "little" is the wrong word to use in any way. Thanks for pointing that out. I actually meant to say "ordinary"
Please allow me to rephrase my context: It's like the dress is too good or too high-end, It would look best on film stars or fashionistas. But "I" am just an ordinary girl so I don't think I can ___ it?" I want to highlight the girl's humbleness or the incompetence to make sure it looks proper on her

"wear" definitely works in here but I am looking for a deeper, or more abstract verb(or phrasal verb).

Any help please?
