A person points out that "cathedral" in the following sentence is inappropriate.

This Buddhist temple has a great cathedral.

The person points out that a "cathedral" is the main church of a particular area under the control of a bishop and not suitable for a Buddhist temple. Please give me your advice.

Please tell me if "Buddhist cathedral" work.

Also, it wouldn't contain a cathedral, because a cathedral is the whole and not a part.
