I once wanted to work as an interpreter but I later found that it is hard to get work because of the fierce competition and AI. I decided to work as a tutor.

I changed my job outlook when I found that it's tough to get work as an interpreter.

Is my italic sentence grammatical and natural?

I changed my job outlook career plan when I found out that it's tough to get work as an interpreter.

At least in the US, the term 'job(s) outlook' is typically reserved for referring to employability statistics, usually in state or federal data reports. It's generally used as a metric to refer to how many people are employed in a particular career or position for certain length of time.

For example, the US government maintains a website where you can search by desired career and see past statistics and future projections for things like average salary, available jobs, educational requirements, employment trends within that field, etc.

You'll also hear it used in the government's quarterly economic reports. It's not typically used to refer to an individual's job prospects, but industry or industry sectors as a whole.

Even if you did try to use it for an individual, it'd still refer to the likelihood of entering employment, not a specific desired job.
