2. “Textar” commenced to set production of brake pads in 1934. In 10 years there began the first deliveries of German automotive industry.

Which of these two sentences is more preferable for you, as a native speaker?

Neither is natural and both contain grammatical errors.

Actually, a better title would have been Textar brake pads.

I like 2 better, with changes; TEXTAR commenced production of brake pads in 1934. In 10 years they began deliveries to the German automotive industry.

What do you think about this variant:
In 1934 TEXTAR started to produce brake pads, and just in 10 years it supplied the German automotive industry with them. TEXTAR, as the first manufacturer of friction materials, started delivering its brake pads to the conveyors and became a leading company in the market.
