clinic
Medical facility
Health facility

Hi,
I think they have the same meaning and can be interchangeable. Am I right?

They might be. In what context do you want to use them?

I have amended your thread title. Can you see what I have done?

For example suppose that it's 3:00 AM and I've got a terrible cold and need to see a doctor. In this context I want to say that I should go to the clinic/medical facility, health facility. Can all of them work here with the same meaning?

Yes, thank you. I think I had written the words "medical" and "health" in capital letters.

Look at the spacing around the slash marks. Can you see how Rover's layout differs from your original?

Where I am from, you can go to a 24-hour clinic to see a doctor in the early hours of the morning. I believe it would be quite a challenge to see a doctor in private clinics in western countries other than a hospital.

A type of clinic called an urgent care facility has become common in American cities. They provide care to walk-in patients needing immediate (or, in many cases, eventual) attention, twenty-four hours a day. Many Americans rely on these clinics instead of having a family doctor, a luxury large numbers of Americans can't afford.

Re: clinic / Medical facility / Health facility

As I've recently discovered, many urgent care facilities may have extended, but still limited hours, generally around 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (give or take an hour). Outside of those hours, you either have to wait or visit the ER.

I had to stop at two recently while traveling, and one even shut down for the lunch hour, which of course was when I happened to be stopping in. I initially chalked that up to them and my local one as being in relatively small towns, but the third one was in a town of about 300,000 and still closed at 8:00 and didn't open until 9:00.

I uncharitably labeled them as semi-urgent care....

Re: clinic / Medical facility / Health facility

In my city, the 24/7 medical facilities are called 'accident and emergency'.

Re: clinic / Medical facility / Health facility

It's the same in the UK.

That's a very natural descriptor. For better or worse, it isn't used in the US.
