Hello,

I hear the word "coffee-colored" eyes. I googled it and different results came up and I'm confused.

Coffee can be different shades of brown. When they say "she has coffee-colored" eyes, what do they mean?

And how common is it?

Is there another way of describing the eye color of a person with "deep brown" color?

There is no specific definition of that term. Medically/genetically, there are only six eye colours, as shown HERE. As you can see, "coffee-coloured" isn't one of them! On that basis, the term is very subjective. Someone who drinks their coffee black will get a different mental image from someone who drinks their coffee with loads of milk. Either way, if someone is described as having coffee-coloured eyes, they basically have brown eyes. The writer/speaker is just trying to make it sound more interesting!

Dark brown is more common than deep brown or coffee-coloured.

Coffee-colored eyes are brown.
