Is the following wording natural and acceptable?

Finally, Dave and the chipmunks come to understand their true and real value. The surface of the "charm" to them briefly as a cloud. In fact, loyalty, family and friendship are the most important.

This has no verb.

The surface of the "charm" to them is briefly as a cloud.

The vanity of charm/glamour to them is briefly like a cloud.

That makes no sense. You're trying to be too poetic with your explanation. Explain to us in plain English the idea you wish to convey.

I'm not sure whether the wording "the vanity of the charm" is too poetic. I'm trying to convey the idea as following.
1. For example, celebrities like movie stars or singers gain extremely popular, and they enjoy the great wealth and rank. However, these glory, luxury and reputation to some people are just untrustworthy, unrealistic and superficial.
2. The "charm" here in this sentence means the glamour of celebrities or charisma of politicians.
Therefore, Dave and the chipmunks come to understand their true and real value. They realize that loyalty, family and friendship are the most treasurable.

I revised the sentences as written:

The vanity of the "charm" to them is as transient and ephemeral as a fleeting cloud. Instead, loyalty, family and friendship are the most prized above everything else.

Then say "The glamour of the life of a celebrity is ephemeral while family and friendship endure."

None of us understand what you meant by "charm."
