comparable period VS the same/corresponding period

Would you please tell me if the following sentences are OK?

- Brazilian beef exports amounted to USD 4.187 billion from January to September, down 2.6% from the comparable period in 2015.

- Brazilian beef exports amounted to USD 4.187 billion from January to September, down 2.6% compared with the same/corresponding period in 2015.

I'd use 'down by 2.6% from the corresponding period...'.
"...down 2.6% from exports in the corresponding period...'.
