To show support to the people suffering from earthquake. The singers get together to hold a concert for donation in the open area with the citizen holding a candies.

The singers in other countries appeared at the same time via video in that concert.

What should I say this kind of concert?
What should I say appeared at the same time via video in that concert?
Shall I say the citizen holding a candies the supporters only?

Thank you.

To help people suffering because of the earthquake, the singers will get together and give a concert for donations, in the open area, with the citizens holding up candles to show their support.

Singers in other countries will appear at the same time, via a video link.

JTRiff's version is fine, though not all the amendments are essential; I also assume that Ju's original sentences were about an event that had already taken place.

So, this is possible.
