I have lots of grammar books. One of them says that we use conditional sentences (type 1) with "If + infinitive + may / might / can / will" another book says "If + infinitive + may / will / can" What's the problem with "may and might" ? :)

There have been several threads on the forum regarding "may/might". Have your searched for those terms?

I haven't =) But I will.

The best way to search for previous threads is to go to the very top of the page and click on Search next to 'Google Custom Search'.

When 'Google Custom Search' appears again, type 'May/might' in the long empty box and then Search again.

(Before the forum was 'improved' we only needed one step to do this rather than two.)

That is a rather strange glitch that I hadn't noticed before. Anyway, in case the OP is having trouble, here's the result of searching "may or might" (just the 11,100 results!): Search - UsingEnglish.com
