Have you got married? Which sentence is correct and polite?

Have you been married?
Have you got married? Is there any difference between these sentence or both are correct?

Either would be correct and polite depending on what information you are seeking. "Have you been married (since I saw you last or previously or at some time in the past)?" "Have you got married (since I saw you last)?"
