correct me if I'm wrong or listen to me.


Again I'm not really sure if the expression''correct me if I'm wrong'' is used correctly. Would you please make me sure?

Yes, it is correct. But it is not generally used followed by "or listen to me".
I suppose your teacher means something like, "You are behaving as if you know more than I do. So please either tell me where I am wrong, or be quiet and try to learn something from me".
 
Correct me if I am wrong is frequently used when the speaker is fairly sure that s/he is not wrong. It can be a mock-humble, mock-polite way of pointing out that somebody has made a silly mistake:

Bill: New York is the capital of the USA.
Fred: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Washington was the capital of the USA.
