Curious & Strange

Hi,

Can someone please tell me the difference between "curious" and "strange". I've been told to use "curious" when I talk about something that's not usual and use "strange" when I talk about something that's weird but I don't see the difference.

In certain contexts the two words can have nearly the same meaning. In other contexts they have very different meanings.
