This is the third paragraph of my essay (body paragraph 1).
Currently, an entrance door on the south side of the house leads to a hall in the middle that has a staircase with storage on its right side and two doors. One of these doors leads to a kitchen, which dominates the left section and is also accessible by an entrance on its north side, while the other door opens into a living room, on the right section.
1) Is it correct to say that an entrance door is on the north side or on the northwest side of a house?
2) In this context, is it correct to simply say "south entrance" or "northwest entrance"?
For example, "the south entrance (of the house) leads to a hall with two doors and stairs, while the northwest entrance opens into the kitchen."
