Do you use any slang or common name to refer to cursive and 'block letter' handwriting?

'Joined-up writing' and 'block capitals'.

Running writing, and printing.

In AmE, we refer to either "cursive" or "printing." :)

Oh, I didn't know, would you mind using 'printing' in a sentence in the context of block letter writing?

Like, write your name using 'printing' ?

"Cursive writing is becoming a lost art. Thanks to technology, children today usually type rather than write. When they do commit something to paper, they print it."

"Please sign your name on the dotted line, then print it on the second line." (Many forms instruct you to print your name after your signature, since some handwriting is very difficult to decipher!)
