What does the verb "curve" mean in the following sentence? It seems that there's no matching meaning in dictionaries. Thank you in advance.

"The lovers begin to argue, to grow apart. Now there are only moments, moments when they curve to each other in the night, only moments when the boy's longing disappears."
 
What is the source of this quotation?
 
I think it means embrace, cuddle or make love.
