Hello!

I'm in charge of creating a database of website links, book titles and resources about foreign companies.

What can I call this database? "Database for international business intelligence", "Database for export market watch", "Database for foreign market watch"... ?

I really don't know. Can you help me pelase?

THank you very much for your help.

It depends on who is going to use the database. If you are the only user, I would call it something like "DB1F". If others use it, how about "DB_foreign_companies". The normal convention among database developers is to call a database "DB". A major consideration is the database you are going to use and if there are limits on the number of characters you may use in a title.

Thank you Gillnetter.

In fact, other (domestic) companies are going to use this database.

It has to be a rather "complete" title (says my manager...) What do think about "Database for export market watch"?

Thanks a lot Gillnetter

That is meaningless to me. What is the purpose of the word "watch"?
