Hello amazing teachers here. Would you kindly tell me what does "If you didn't quite deal with what you need to deal with, you're still with us."

I'm getting confused with this because I find no relationship between the first part "If you didn't quite deal with what you need to deal with" and the second "you're still with us"! What does she want to say?!!

If you didn't quite deal with what you knew you could deal with, you know, you're still with us, you're still awake, you're still coming through ...

She's saying that you can still get through the gate even if you're carrying baggage.
