This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

A couple of months ago, I had an eye check-up in the hospital. An optometrist told me that I didn't need to get a new pair of eye glasses because my vision was good and my nearsightedness had just got worse a little. Interestingly, the optometrist in an optical store advised that I need to wear a pair of eye glasses that matches my prescription completely. I suspect they just wanted me to buy new eye glasses so I ignored him. Over the past years, I've found that every time I wear a new pair of eye glasses that completely matches my prescription, my eye vision get worse quickly, so I'd rather wear my current eye glasses.

For a start, after the first use of the word ‘eye’, you can delete every other repetition of the word.
