This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

I didn't get off to a very good start on the first day of 2025 because I caught a cold a couple of days ago and I haven't fully recovered (I don't know if I should use "didn't", it's still afternoon here). However, I'm still full of hope about this year. I don't have any new resolution because I just want to achieve the goals I set last year. This morning, I watched some prophecies about 2025 on YouTube. One of them said there might be a disaster in July, which could cause some eastern countries to disappear and create a new piece of new land somewhere. I don't believe this would happen but I'll wait and see if it's true.

"I haven't fully recovered [yet]" is correct.

Perhaps:

I caught a cold a couple of days ago, and I haven't fully recovered, so 2025 hasn't gotten off to very good start for me.
