I like Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series because the stories are funny. They revolve around the writer's childhood, school and family life. The writer is good at describing some trivial things in a funny way. Sometimes these things resonates with me too. One of the stories was about him and his friend competing to see who shook off their earphones fastest. I remember I did similar silly things when I was a child too. I don't know if what the writer wrote about was his real childhood experience. If it was real, I think he had an extraordinary childhood.
