Did you see that stupid new sexist sports cara advertisement?
Is "sexist" an adjective of purpose here

Is that your sentence?

Adjective of purpose? Do you think the ad was specially designed to be sexist?

When you say 'adjective of purpose' I think you're thinking of modifying words that signify function, like these:

football boots
walking stick
picnic basket

Is that right?

You either need to check your posts much more carefully before submitting them or install an English spell-checker on your browser.

The word "sexy" is often used with cars-- especially muscle cars.

(Note the spelling of "car".)

Yes.

So what's the answer to your question?

Where did you see that sentence?

I would say "sexist" is an adjective of condition here.
