Hi
The noticeable thing that caught my eye regarding the difference between these two terms was the size. It's been always in my mind that a statue can be the same size as the real things or people or even bigger; like 'the statue of liberty'. However, a sculpture is smaller. Please correct me if I'm not right.
Thanks a lot.

Some sculptures are huge! I visited a sculpture park last year and some of them were over 7 metres high. The main difference, as I see it, is that statues are usually of people or animals and sculptures can be of anything - people, animals, buildings or abstract.
