1-Our members have differet views about different social issues.

Can't this sentence mean two things:
a-They don't have different views about every social issue.

b-They have the same views, but their common stance is not the same as regards all issues (Imagine a case where they all have a liberal view about abortion, a conservative view about industrialiation, a socialist view about education...

He has different views about different social issues.

The most likely interpretation for me is that there is no consensus on any particular issue.
