I talked to my friend’s son. My friend went to Singapore a few years ago and married a man there. She later gave birth to this little boy. I asked him this question. Is it natural?

In a recent thread, I told you that opening with a short statement in the simple past is an odd way to start. I suggested you at least add a time marker of some kind and consider changing the tense. I'm going to suggest both of these things again. Please try again.
 
How about the following version?

I talked to my friend’s son a few days ago. My friend went to Singapore a few years ago and married a man there. They were visiting my city recently. She gave birth to this little boy and I was wondering if he could speak some Chinese. I asked him this question. Is it natural?
