Does "I don't care" sound offesive?

Hello.

I've written a letter (an exercise). I wrote a sentence: "My parents think comedies are stupid, but I don't care anyway".
My questions are:

1) Does "I don't care" sound offesive? (I don't want it).
2) Does "stupid" sound offesive in that context?
3) What do you think about "anyway" at the end of sentence? Does it seem suitable?

If you can't answer, I can show you a little bit more context.

1. It doesn't sound offensive to me. If you don't care what your parents think about comedies, then it's fine.
2. If your parents think comedies are stupid, then it's the perfect word.
3. "Anyway" doesn't fit at all.

Note that it's "offensive", not "offesive".
Also, perhaps you might say "...but I don't agree", rather than "...I don't care".

Generally, I think "I don't care" does sound mildly offensive, in most cases. So does "none of your business." But they sometimes need to be said.

If you don't want to sound as though you're being rude toward your parents, you could soften it a little.
"My parents think comedies are stupid, but that/it doesn't bother me".

I think "anyway" fits there reasonably. It means "whether they do or don't". It's redundant, but it fits.

If your parents are expressing their opinions forcefully, then I don't see the need for you to hold back, so it sounds fine to me here.
