I just want to know if "each other" and "one another" are interchangeable . I did my best to know the answer myself but I couldn't . I skimmed all my English dictionaries and grammar books, but I got nothing . So what do you think?

Do you think this statement is true ? I found it in one website but it does not click!

Each other refers to two, one another to more than two.

Thanks :)

It can very often be right, not always though.

We could help each other = the two
I can remember when we gave one another presents = the two.
