Could you tell me what "eat one's way" means? Is it a set phrase? Here's an example:

eat your way.jpg

It means go from one fine restaurant to another.

It's a slight twist on the expression 'make one's way'. The idea is that the purpose of the (metaphorical) journey is eating at as many different places as possible.

Instead of visiting many famous sites and landmarks as you might on a trip, you're instead visiting different eating establishments.

I guess eating out is a hobby for some people. (That's nice if you can afford it, I guess.)
