Do you eat soup or drink soup?
We generally say in Vietnam that we "eat' soup.
What is the difference between drink soup and eat soup?
Which expression is used frequently?

Hi, nextbill!

In Poland, we drink soup, if it is served in mugs (broth, borscht, bouillon), and we eat soup, if it is served in soup plates (vegetable, meat, or fish soup).

If you find it interesting we eat soups in Russian. As far as I know we eat them in English too.

Like stanislaw.masny, I'd eat soup out of a bowl and drink it from a mug.

I drink consommé and eat minestrone.

I go straight to the main course. Why waste time on non-alcoholic liquids when there is meat available?
