Note my corrections above. It's important to start every sentence with a capital letter.

One's "emotional life" is basically all the emotions one feels during one's daily life. So yes, it means that the person feels uncomfortable dealing with his/her emotions.

Thanks...but I do not understand how one can feel uncomfortable with... say... pleasant emotions.

Note my changes above. Your use of ellipses in the sentence were not appropriate. You needed commas.

Most people who have problems with their emotions do, admittedly, have more of a problem with more serious emotions but it is possible for people to even have trouble feeling happy!

The author is talking about Extreme Narcissists and these kind of people do not "have trouble feeling happy!".
So I think "emotional life" has another meaning in the above sentence and has nothing to do with all of the emotions narcissists feel.

It is obviously a very general description of narcissist people. Without further detail, there is really not much that can be said.

Actually, Narcissists mostly feel joy and happiness as a reaction formation. It's kind of their defense mechanism to repress their inner hate, shame, etc.
It's not what one knows that counts, It's what one doesn't know that counts.

A narcissist is somebody in love with himself. He doesn't need you.
