Energy and sense of life

When answering the question "How do you like to spend your free time" can I use "considering" and "sense of life?" I mean it makes life meaningful. Along with many other things in life. I added all the other sentences for the sake of context because sometimes it is not clear what I mean.

Considering that(=taking into account that) I spend all my time with people at work, I prefer to spend my free time alone. I read books. It is the best way for me to enjoy my free time. Because of being busy all the time, I usually have to put books aside. Reading gives me energy and sense of life.

It's all OK except "sense of life". If you hadn't said earlier in your post that you want it to mean that it makes life meaningful, I wouldn't have known what it was supposed to mean.
You need a comma after "all the time".

What should I use instead of "sense of life?" If I use "a sense of life," will the meaning change and will it improve my sentence?

I wouldn't know what you meant by "a sense of life" either. It's meaningless. Why don't you use what you said in the explanation in post #1?

Sorry, I didn't realize you suggested using "that it makes life meaningful" instead.

I'm not at all sure how reading makes life meaningful. It's a way to pass the time. It's better than some things a person could be doing.
