I would like to request assistance from English experts to tell me if the following statements are written correctly.

"Energy savings amount to Php 500,000.00 annually." As long as the technical side of this is correct (I have no idea), the grammar is fine.

"The energy savings that this project can generate is substantial." You used "energy savings" (plural) so the verb before substantial needs to be changed.

Thank you.:-D

The reason why I used "is" in the second sentence is that, I thought the phrase "energy savings" can be taken as a single unit. I will then revise the sentence to read, "The energy savings that this project can generate are substantial."

Thank you.:-D
