English names of these vegetables

What do you call them in English? These are vegetables which we cook here.
We call 1 "petha" and 2 "kaddu".

The general term for them is 'squash'. I'm not familiar with them to give their specific names.

2 look like gooseberries to me, but if you insist they're a vegetable they're probably one of the many varieties of squash.

The second one's a bottle gourd.

Squashes vary so much that they local ones tend not to have specific names in English. For example, the top one looks like what is sometimes known in English as a "Japanese kabocha squash", using the Japanese name for a local pumpkin.
