I wonder if this here site (englishwithashish.com) gives accurate information on English grammar.

One thing here made me doubt. That is to call a gerund and a present participle verbs. I thought, I hope mistakenly, that those only look similarly to verbs but not are verbs as such.
Here is the line: "Both a gerund and a present participle are a progressive form of a verb (V1+ing) that function differently."
