Is there a difference in meaning between these two?
The way I take it they both mean "someone who starts a company".

"Entrepreneur" is the correct word. "Enterpriser" is not a word or, if it is, I have never seen it.

I looked it up in ''Merriam-Websters's Collegiate Dictionary" tenth edition.

I've never seen it used. Entrepreneur is common. When I hear "enterpriser," I think of someone from Star Trek.
