Hello folks,

Which of the next expressions sounds more natural to you ?

La camiseta azul es de mejor calidad que la naranja, es decir, se estropeará menos cuando la laves.

The blue shirt is better quality than the orange one, which means / which implies/ that is to say, that it will ruin less when you wash it.

Thank you very much in advance

I prefer "that is to say" among those choices.

When you say "it will ruin less when you wash it", do you mean "it will do less damage to other clothes/do damage to fewer other clothes" or "it will become less damaged when you wash it"?

If you mean the latter, then you would have to say something like "there is less chance of it being ruined when you wash it".
