Hi
In the following example I couldn't find the meaning of the underlined word. Is it another spelling for "ethereal, which means light and delicate in an unnatural way"?

When they get to the restaurant, he discovers that this etherial creature is on a diet (I came across it in for and against book by L.G Alexander)

Thanks a million.

It's a mis-spelling/typo. The i should be an e.

Yes—I agree. I can find no dictionary which allows it as an alternative spelling.

However, this site finds many examples of its use in reputable sources, so its a fairly common misspelling.
