I wrote the following sentence to express the idea that I once thought taking the driving test was the toughest thing to do, but after I got my license and drove on the road, I've seen many accidents and I then knew that the toughest thing is to drive well and safely on the road.

Ever since I got my driver's license, everyday is a test for me.

Is the italic sentence natural? What would native speakers express the idea?

What How would native speakers express the idea?

AE speakers might say that (though every day should be two words.

BE speakers would say/write my driving licence.
