Hi is this sentence well-writen?

1. Explores the early relationship between the renowned psychiatrist and his patient, a young FBI criminal profiler, who is haunted by his ability to empathize with serial killers.

It is not a complete sentence. The story explores...?
It should be "a" before "psychiatrist". I am not sure about the use of the word "haunted".

Haunted is okay.
I agree that "a" is correct rather than "the" and that it needs a subject.
