could anyone please tell me if the sentence below makes any sense?


ACR factors in application level interests besides efficient resource utilization while recovering from critical node failures.

Marginally. When there is a "critical node failure," there must be a recovery. During this recovery, "efficient resource utilization" is considered ("factored in"). Besides that (in addition to that) "application level interests" are also factored in.

It is the sort of grotesque strings of words typical of some technical documents. I'm surprised that the 'writer' didn't use 'CNF', 'ERU', and 'ALI', making the 'sentence' utterly opaque! ;-)
